Background

The location we are planning to set up the library is in rural Cambodia, in a village called Tuol Prich located within the Mien Commune. This place is about an hour drive away from the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh.

We are going to Cambodia in December to provide medical and basic humanitarian aid to locals through an organization called Project Angkor. Residents in Tuol Prich have extremely limited access to basic resources, and it is the goal of Project Angkor to help them obtain more-than-sufficient resources and provide them with medical care. This website is a side project, attempting to give the residents of Cambodia more. Hopefully, giving locals long-term access to books will boost literacy and happiness in Tuol Prich.
